Date Night...on a Thursday????

This date night just happened by chance....we were bored.  So after work we decided to go see a movie.  Frankie wanted Avatar, I wanted Sherlock Holmes, so we saw Legion.  Big mistake.  I didn't mind it because if you dont know this about me I love weird religious movies, but Frankie hated it.  However he sat through the whole thing like a trooper and he got me popcorn too!

After the movie we decided to splurge and go to dinner at one of our favorite restuarants, Tsunami.  Best sushi ever.  We love the Don Juan roll and we tried a new one that was really good too.  Frankie and his family had never tired sushi until we met.  Dinner is a treat now because since we bought our house we have been eating dinner at home almost every night to save money so that we can paint, and decorate, and make 2 house payments.  That has been the worst thing about buying a house.  I love to eat out and I hate to cook, but so far we are doing it.

Then when we got home my favorite show was on, Project Runway, and Frankie sat and watched it with me.  I always feel very inspired when I watch that show...like I need to learn how to sew or build something but it never happens.  Way to be a good husband, Frankie!!!

A Good Week

So far we are having a wonderful week and have more fun things planned.  Frankie is planning basketball tonight and I made something new for dinner that was actually fairly good, South Western Chicken.  The best thing ever though??? We got blinds for the living room today and my dad came and hung them up!  YEAH DAD!  Now our lovely neighbors can no longer see into our home. 

Yesterday we got our first letter in the mail from Alex and we all got painting too.  Mine was a dog and Frankie got a picture of the 3 of us....so cute!  He seems to be enjoying California.  He has to wear uniformas to school and I dont know how happy he is about that.

Saturday we are taking my Grandma Elma (dad's mom) to see a play at the Hale Theatre and then to lunch for her birthday.  I hope so like it. 

A Day of Giving

Today my office had a blood drive.  Frankie came on his lunch break and gave blood.  I was very happy, thinking I could get out of it until someone looked online and saw that even if you have diabetes you can still give blood.  Wow lucky me!!  I hate needles and I hate blood.  But I did it, so that was wonderful.

The Day of Love

Feb 14th is coming folks and it is my favorite Holiday!  I have been working on my glitter roses and will post pictures of them soon.

Starting For the New Year

The new house has a very large living space, which is awesome! It will be perfect when we start having family dinners and get togethers with friends and family. We had breakfast at the new house on X-mas morning and it was perfect. We just need to start decorating!

Well what have we missed in the last year of not blogging. First thing is first. We bought a new house and rented out the old one. The new house is in Cottonwood Heights, It is a new build and we love it. We moved in the weekend of Halloween 2009. It has his and her walk in closets.
