4 Years Later
Well here we are. It has been 4 years since my mom passed away. Here is a shout out to everyone that is thinking of her today and missing her as much as I am.......love ya mom!
Hi sweetie. Time goes by so fast, eh? 4 years seems like 2 seconds ago in some respects. Whew. It honest to God feels like a lifetime ago in sadness. Tried to call you tonight but no answer. I hope you are doing ok. Lord knows we all miss Debbie every day. Probably every minute....second......just all the damn time. My God, wasn't she the best?!?! I miss her white Avon hair brush & her great laugh & her way of saying my name....Jennyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.... Ouch...breaks my heart....but in a good way somehow. I am not sure everyone loves that much so I feel blessed.
I was needing an extra dose of positivity today, so I looked for an uplifting quote & found one that made me laugh......and..... cry too.
"I am ready to meet my Maker. Whether my maker is prepared for the great ordeal of meeting me is another matter." -- Winston Churchill
(I hope that Deb & her maker played golf today & sent us all love from the 19th hole.....where the cocktails & celebrations for longest drive & closest to the hole take place. Binko banko bonko or whatever the hell that golf game is.) LOVE LOVE LOVE U Debbie. Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow. Yep, forever. XOXOXOXO
